I agree with you Sleeper, this is major news and will affect the market in a general way. Pheiffer and Mason being forced out so unexpectedly is much more newsworthy than the huge miss preannounce. A PR was issued (that I can't seem to find) where Rosen said the problems were cpq internal issues not industry issues. That is certainly bullish... but, the fact that they were pushed out NOW right before earnings could mean they could really miss the .15 number that was revised way down.

Let's hope this CPQ news does not bring down the internet stocks. They all made a dive last week when CPQ announced their earnings were going to be short. We are not exactly in the same sector, but too close for comfort.

CEO (5fer) has not been the most outstanding CEO and this should be good news for CPQ, although the exact circumstances are not clear. GNET had such a good momentum going, hope we are not affected (infected).
