Rather than give you a general statement, let me give you two specific examples.

Oracle--stock split recently and downtrending, I think it will reverse dramatically in two months MAYBE so I am thinking about June 36 calls
Thinking is the critical word :)))
Let's say I have $1,000 to burn and I do an analysis/guesswork that the stock will be $40 by third week in June
There is the potential cost of the option, commission cost, potential price and potential loss of 100%

IMIC--stock dived over the past year, I bought in $5, ran to $8 got greedy and it dropped to $ 1.75 (roughly) is this a penny? NOPE they have a cap of about $60M with between $60/$80M cash!
I noticed yesterday when I was poking around for Oracle Option info that I neglected to check on IMIC.
So now I need to figure if I can profit by stock going imho from 2 to 4 to 8 in the next 60-90 days.

Didn't want to burden you with details, but that's it.
Also, in KYOM and looking at USAB entry point.
Full disclosure...one thing I do hold close though is my dd patterns and my loading preferrences, quantity/price.

Thanks for the reference and for the question.
ynot :)
