Michael Murphy of the CTSL has added COMS to his model portfolio. He is convinced that 3Com will be bought out in the near future. In fact, he believes that Alcatel is talking to 3Com right now. Murphy also mentions Siemens and Ericsson as possible buyers.

Maybe Eric B. will take the hint and go like a man, I admire Pfieffer for being a real man and taking responsibility. Ultimately its the CEO (Eric B. ) who must answer to leading COMS down a dead end low margin commodity path for the past 3-4 years while CSCO, ASND, have tripled and quadrupled market caps. Chuck
