On this I disagree with you. I don't think there should be much difference at all in the OSX caused by the difference between $18 and $21 Brent.

It hadn't occurred to me that people are thinking that-
<<'The higher the oil price, the higher the OSX'>>
but I guess that follows from-
<<'It's the price of oil, stupid!'.>>
I keep forgetting I'm almost the only one who doesn't believe that.

Production capacity might be an issue 2-3 years down the road, as you suggest, but I think demand would have to grow more rapidly than we can reasonably expect before it would overwhelm OPEC's (and other producers') ability to respond.

All this just mho, of course.
