Roger : The "writer" is a gossip and an entertainer. He prints a couple of excerpts from the COMPAQ press release, cites an unamed COMPAQ investor in Philadelphia and quotes Niles. So lets deal with Niles. It does not say when he made his comment or the context of it. It sounds like he made it on the headline news and without knowledge of the Rosen explanation. But to jump from a headline of a resignaton to talk about channel stuffing is a bit rich! If Niles is correct, where has he been these last few months! His raison d'etre is to inform clients and the market. If there has been substantial more channel stuffing why has Niles not spotted it and told us about it. I notice he does not allege it - just wonders. We can all do that.
