PB,

My immediate take would be that it is good for Intel and bad for AMD. I would think that Pfeiffer's resentment toward Intel will be missed by AMD.

Yes

(i) CPQ is saddled with the DEC legacy. A repetition of the 3coms/USRX
disaster ?

(ii) in the PC business everybody should learn from DELL. They're simply the best.

(iv) I give credit to EP for having quit, while Palmer stayed around
with all sorts of hairy, politician-like argument "that this quarter is so much better and we are finally making the turn"
