The-Adviser.com is reporting exclusively that the resignations came in light of the major accounting and financial problems that first came to late last week as the Company closed its accounting books for the latest quarter. As the financials came together - the numbers reflected financial results that were worse than Compaq just reported on April 9. The resignations by the Mason and Pfeiffer were apparently made to cut-off lawsuits directly at the Company.

And that is how I understood your post. In addition, should you disagree please do. The benefit of these posts is being able to read and learn from the insights of others. You don't sound to me like the kind of person who is gratified from listening to his own voice.

As for right this instant, I wish I knew what the big-money guys are thinking and how, on balance, they will react tomorrow. This thread seems split on whether cpq will go up or down tomorrow. Reasonable minds can differ.
