Axe falls at CPQ - who predicted IBM's doom when CPQ took Radio Shack ?

Was just last year when IBM "lost" to CPQ who obviously then found out too late RS wanted too good a deal from IBM .

Maybe CPQ had to stuff the 4Q supply pipeline to keep the RS deal looking good but couldn't conceal 1Q "adjustments" to avoid returns .

Hence its time for CPQ's Generals to walk the plank:

" NEW YORK (Reuters) - The top two executives of Compaq Computer Corp. (NYSE:CPQ - news), the world's No. 1 personal computer maker, stunned the industry Sunday by quitting in the wake of the company's financial turmoil. "

At this point I'd ask again but seeing how Jules has joined our burning IBM ship I won't .

PS: What does bother me is CPQ's inventory guy joined AAPL a few months back and recently sold all his employment options at bargain prices .
