I have visited both companies and all my money is on GLE. There is a possibility that Ballard will be a $5 stock in four years. What odds? I say 10% chance. By the way your on for a beer on your bet. I say $25 before $5.

This company in no way compares to ballard, and I think it is inappropriate to compare both companies technology....they will not compete with each other. People on this thread are attempting to boost the price of this stock by comparing it to ballard...thats nuts.

Michael, why is it inappropriate to compare the two companies? They are both in the same business, albeit with different technologies. One is focusing on automotive applications but also working on stationary power generators, the other is currently focusing on stationary power generators, but exploring automotive applications. The potential markets for both applications is HUGE.

OK, so lets agree that perhaps (at least based on the news released so far) GLE is not as far advanced as BLD. Let's conservatively estimate that Global is three years behind Ballard.

Three years ago on April 16th 1996 Ballard closed at a price of $28.60, with more shares issued at the time than Global currently has issued! I'll be quite happy if GLE closes at $28.60 tomorrow!
