It will be interesting to see how long the CEO search takes. The IBM search took a fair amount of time. As with IBM, this is a pretty critical time for CPQ. My guess is that they need an outsider with top notch credentials, a marquee name if available. I find it amusing that Jobs has been mentioned here, as John Sculley was one of the names mentioned for the IBM job, this was before Apple imploded and Sculley was still considered a CEO of substance.
