Charles: I agree. But it seems they don't have all the details yet. You wonder how long it takes. So maybe they need the extra day to get their act together.

Charles -
Remember that the actual earnings statement is a lot more than the bottom line. We have learned that many of the accounting systems are still not linked between DEC and CPQ and that resolution happens "manually" i.e. fingers on keyboards. I doubt that there is any reason to rush that process - better to get it right. Who cares what happens for 2 days? There are more important issues right now.

This new CEO team has already started repairing the Public / Shareholder relations in an attempt to restore the confidence by getting rid of EP/EM. They will need to level w/ wallstreet in terms of expectations and outlook.
