Michelle - Very good, and close to what I would express as DELL's central philosophy. Also a key to their success and a driving principle for their business model. That's the kind of response I was looking for. I would still claim this is not exactly a "vision statement" since it is something that is inherent in everything that DELL does but not something which you hear expressed in DELL's public pronouncements. How many DELL managers would express this as clearly as you have just done? Part of the beauty of DELL's approach is that this works whether or not the people doing it realize the guiding principle.
