Hello Michael
I don't know much about the science of fuel cells
but I must admit the heat production from these cells as
long as it does not cause premature failure to the cell
sounds beneficial. At 600C this heat can be harvested
to be used to heat the home to running a barbeque.
Heating a pool to running your own greenhouse and all
as a byproduct of making electricity.
I would like to list all the thing that this heat could
be used for in the home and then figure the savings it would create
From this determine how expensive a commercial cell
has to be to make it too expensive.
Also if this heat were harvested it would probably create
a few new products and possibly other industries.
I for one am not hung up on this car thing.
Also if the electric car develops they will need a way to
provide power for the increased demand and we know Nuclear
isn't coming back
good luck
