Well put in a buy at 21 1/2. Never really considered CPQ in the past even though I live in Houston. Don't know if I will get filled, but hell every stock has its price. CPQ isn't going out of business anytime soon. At least they had the foresight to realize the box-making game would get old soon. Good luck all Michael Hwang

FWIW, The Nando Times www.nandotimes.com has a headline that _three_ Compaq executives resigned (but they only list two in the story, so maybe they just can't count). I have no idea if it means anything. JMHO.

John: I'm curious what this "too slow" is a code word for. EP was supposedly a thorough planner. According to rudedog, the manageemnt structure encouraged fast, direct communication. It almost seems that Rosen was referring to specific decisons - perhaps the move to direct (although Rosen has said he will retain the multi-channel approach) perhaps the busines of AV, perhaps the move to e-commerce, or perhaps that the expansion of the enterprise division has not been fast enough or perhaps that COMPAQ has not produced enough avante garde appliances to enhance internet use. I wonder whether Schrock will keep his job at AV. Several on ths thread have been uneasy about him.
