Part of the negative action today I believe is due to ATI employees selling stock options. They vest today for a large number of employees. So when you see blocks of 10k-20k shares sold by a single seller, it is very likely that it is an ATI employee selling their options at an incredible profit. What they dont realize is that you can't simply dump 20000 shares on the market at this price and not have it affect the market! The majority of ATI employees selling options use the following houses: TD greenline, Merryl Lynch, Nesbitt Burns.
