Igor in Young Frankenstein did not kill pigs, at least not that I remember. Igorots are a mountain tribe in Northern Luzon. I lived with them for a number of years. They have huge wedding bashes, where the tribe establishes its social standing by the number of pigs slaughtered. The morning of the wedding can be quite a scene. The Ifugao, on the other side of the mountains, use water buffalo, and the slaughter is a ritual thing: about a dozen lads with machetes jump the buffalo, and things get messy. Culture, you know. National Geographic stuff. They used to cut off each other's heads for sport, but hardly ever do it now.
