Actually, the MEES article is not as bullish as at first glance. The SA cut is concentrated in heavy and medium grades with little change in Arab light and Oman's cut is only half of what they agreed to do. Questions-is the inventory overhang mainly in light grades or is there a material heavy/medium aspect? If SA doesn't cut light but instead cuts its medium and heavy, how will that affect the wti price currently at 17.35 (may futures)?

Gary and others,

Just heard on the radio that Amoco had an explosion and fire at its Whiting Refinery. No word yet as to extent of damage, or whether there was personnel injury. Will try to keep all posted.
