Bill,

I agree with most of what you said. I also spent quite abit of time finding condidates for each trading day and expended a great deal of energy. And I, like you, struggled with the bottom line. I was making teenies and 1/8s with a decent batting avrages. But the occasional loser that got away a bit wiped out a lot of small profits. My earlier comments about some guys not working too hard was an observation of mine. A few of the more successful traders (I traded at a day trading office) were more "gamblers" than I, playing the internets and the like.

< Now I position trade only and I find myself working about 80% less and making nice, consistent profits. So, like I said, I know what works best for me. Too bad it took me two years to figure it out. ?

I'm back to position trading also although I will close out a trade intra-day if it hits my profit objective. But I must be twice as smart as you as it only too me ONE YEAR to figure out day trading wasn't my best bet <VBG and no harm intended>. Good luck.

Dave
