It would have certainly helped the case, as it would have been very difficult for the Clinton camp to argue as it did in the face of Wright's ruling. The House leaders would have had a great deal of additional support to show they were merely supporting the rule of law and protecting public trust. As it happened, Clinton defenders lied to themselves and to their country (what Clinton did is really quite obvious, needing no grand analysis), and we should not be surprised to find them lying even today. Too bad Democrats almost unanimously failed their country, and too bad Republican Senators were too Democratish to stand for principle. Now America is in Kosovo being led by a man who has corrupted his entire country. LOL

We will see how the thing turns out.
