JDN. Interesting you should mention TR Price Sci and tech. 75 percent of my retirement money is in that fund. It has actually gone up during the recent selloff in EMC, which means Morris has had offsetting gains in other stocks, probably semi's. As I am sure you know, that fund earned almost 50 percent last year (1998) BUT was actually DOWN over 20 percent for the year during the correction in Aug-Sept. Volatile but solid growth.

JDN,

that's a good sign, plus, when funds use a buy-and-hold strategy with EMC as one of their biggest plays, when it starts picking up steam again (and it will), funds will be jumping back on the bandwagon. the tech sector has been taking a beating the past few days. the 'net stocks are starting to come down. hopefully, some tech investors will start flocking to "safer" tech stocks, ie. EMC. i still say earnings will be very positive tomorrow.
