On GMA this morning, they showed a poll which found that Gore's favorability ratings had slipped. Only 44% viewed him favorably as opposed to 47% unfavorably. However, I believe these polls are probably meaningless at this point in time. JLA

Les--- I wanted to specifically cite from the Post story:"74 percent of respondents, including large majorities of Democrats, said they are 'tired of all the problems associated with the Clinton administration' and only 29 percent wish Clinton would run for a third term...Gore also loses among women, the voting group that returned Clinton to office in 1996. In the Pew poll, women preferred Gore 52 percent to 42 percent..."
