I agree, and I really wish it was #2. ATI's share price seems to be driven so much by what's going on short term, I think sometimes as much as internet stocks. The market always cooks up some kind of potential problem. You just don't see this with the majority of stocks. Again, I think it's mainly a product of the industry ATI competes in, with the past failures of other players etc. This sure makes it hard for those trying to buy and hold ATI long term. I've tried that and just couldn't sit through the gyrations. I've found myself buying ATI around $15-20 and selling at $25-27. Done it 3 times now. So far it's turned out to be more profitable than holding on (I wasn't lucky enough to get in as early as some here). Would love to buy this stock and leave it alone but just can't "trust" the market/shorts not to cook something else up. Fundamentally this is a great company. It's the market psychology that seems messed up.

Maybe calls are the answer??
