TO END ALL NASDAQ RUMORS FROM THIS MORNING:

apparently some confusion by and overzealous worker at NASDAQ "confirmed" BIDS trading day to be teusday.
Later, they recanted, after the FLOOD of calls trying to confirm the confirmation, they stated that "there was confusion this mornig" possibly over the symbol BIDS, and the approval of a symbol, or the approval of NASDAQ(not to include the SEC)

Where here's the scoop: NASDAQ, Nor the SEC for that matter can neither confirm nor deny WHEN a stock will trade, only the listing company can confirm

ALSO there is no waiting period, or MANDARTORY anything 48 hours cause they are not changing any company position, financing, etc.

This means that BIDS can start trading on nasdaq at NOON, or NOON MAY 6th,2000.
without notice, without announcment , without anything.

Think about it, can NASDAQ actually confirm insider trading information? NO, I think not. They can only confirm they have a application, or a suspected trading ALLOWANCE date.

So for those who still cling that TEUSDAY is the day based on what they heard, they maybe right, but it can change just as easily to wednesday( which was my first pick by the way hehehehe) if they wanted to..

I think we should put it to rest.

I spoke with Victor at FRB in NYC. Here's what he had to say: BII wants to trade on the national market (i.e., creates presence, increases profile). The 22nd of April marks the expiration of the period above $5. He anticipates that the stock will trade on Nasdaq shortly after that. Bii will not opt for a small cap listing. So, if Victor is right, the news will come later this week and not tomorrow. Now, in anticipation of the vitriol which is about to fly, these calls are easy to make, so go ahead and make them yourself. Certainly Victor's comments are inconsistent with comments from Nasdaq, such as call back tomorrow and trading is imminent. I am not posting the main number at FRB because you can get it yourself and I may want to call Victor again. With the number posted here, he'd certainly receive several calls in the next five minutes (he probably will anyhow). I note that Victor seemed like a junior on this file; not the individual responsible for the mandate.
