This happened to me with a different stock one time so i called my brokerage.
They said the exchange handles them in the order received and i was too far down. In addition, each time you change your order its like a new order and you lose your place.

I agree with CSage that orders are handled according to when they come in (and restrictions like limit prices and all-or-none can put it even lower on the list). But it also demonstrates a larger point: the MM's aren't desperate for JNNE stock anymore. Even if your friend's order was low on the list, the MM's should have snapped it up pretty quick if they were looking for shares. That doesn't seem to be the case right now.

People keep asking why we can't break resistance or why the volume is down so much from last week. I think it's because everybody who was excited about JNNE's potential is already in. Now we are all waiting with baited breath to see if they actually put out some info that demonstrates that they are achieving some of that potential (unlike the last PR!). I think the MM's are also waiting for this. Just my .02
