Must have been using that high-falutin' eCustomer SFA product (based on MS-SQL) to add up all the closed deals. Yah, nothing like a 4/19 pre-release to endear yourself to the analyst community. Says a lot about the CFO and IR people. OTOH, this is a great opportunity for Clarify to hire all those people they've been wanting to hire.

I would think there is some sort of "investigation" into this. Luongo said in 1998 that he would never surprise the street again. This time he waited until the last moment to "surprise" them. Is he saying he didn't know about this? I doubt it. It makes you wonder who knew about it as the stock slowly slide from 12 to 9. It's the same pattern as last year when the stock slid from the mid 30s to 15 and then Luongo "surprised" everyone. Something smells on this.
