George- you're right, I think. Medcare has spent a ton of money promoting itself for many years, with generally negligible apparent effect on the stock price. I don't know, but would guess they've been selling stock into the market on a consistent basis. Your description is their old one, while the "service" (and I use that term very loosely <g>) whose writeup Howard pasted seems to be conveying MCAR's latest attempt to turn itself into a successful company.

I don't think StayHealthy has anything to fear from Medcare. In fact, I like the idea that those masters of promotion think that this is a good marketing angle for them, because AHS is doing most of that stuff LEGITIMATELY and will have the killer app to make the site "sticky" (keep people there and keep them coming back). -Eric

I was glad to get some talk going on AVAL.

I have no idea about Medcare. I was sent an email about from Wall Street West Newswire. It sounded alot like what Stayhealthy is trying to do. I thought I would pass it along.
