to all: how do we reconcile the enthusiasm of the longs, including those posting here, with the uncompromising advice of Wexler that this is a co. to be shorted? There have been a series of assurances as to dates of closure with partners (1998, then first qtr. 1999, now second qtr. 1999) that have not panned out. I have to admit to nervousness as to why a supposedly strong and unique product such as topiglan should be taking so long to interest some deep pocket drug co. Also, where is the stock action commesurate with the story? A move from 6 1/2 to 10 1/2 over the past 6 mos. is exciting, but small change in a market such as we have now. Appreciate any substantive input, but I suspect only the co. insiders and Dr. Goldstein know, and they are not talking, at least not to me.
