Gary,

where would EMC be if the DOW were down 150 points?

Probably higher. Recently, the Dow and the techs/internets have been out of phase, or inside out, or opposite from each other. Actually, today, some of the the techs and the internets are separating like oil and water. My point is, there is so much rotation going on that a down Dow might just be what the techs need to get rotation back toward them. Even (sounds silly, even) AOL and QCOM are down big today, and look at the Dow. Crazy market.

Tony

What's all the fuss about?

Hi Gary!

Look at the charts going back 2 years and you won't ever find the volitilty we have had in EMC in the past week.

IMO, the chart explains this week also, at least in part. Many folks who rode EMC up on its huge rise from 50 last October have been taking the opportunity to lock in their gains rather than take a chance on post-earnings action. Perfectly normal, I think.

JMHO.<g>

Best wishes,
Tom
