Anybody get a replay number for the conference call yet? Whenever it should happen to be, whenever they should decide to release earnings.

We all better hope they beat earnings and have some positives to say or Philips 17 will be looking good.

Maybe the hold up is the negotiation of another alarm system perk?

Here is the story.
First of all I am very puzzled. When I called them this morning (West coast time) and they told me that they have not scheduled the earning release yet. If this is an indication,
they have management problem.
Now on the question of the earning. Apparently, VLSI has changed their reporting system! They have also removed the Q4 98 report from their web site. Here is my analysis. The RVNU grew by about 6% (a plus). The Gross Profit declined from 42% (I remember the Jan 99 report was 38.5%!!!) to 38.5 % ( a minus). The interest gain was about $1.5M last quarter, now it appears at $3.5M; this is only change in reporting, I suppose. Once you account for these differences, the EPS after tax is $0.05.
This is $.05 better than the consensus earning. More to come.
