Hi Larry,..Re:.I missed what Dan Niles said today ! What did he say ?

He said that DELL was a bigger risk than CPQ now since CPQ has sold off more than 50% since the first of the year. He also said the PC industry is slow which disregards both Lew Platt's comments and DELL's comments about earnings and revenue coming in on target according to estimates. Not to mention AAPL. Also, Kumar and others have more than once stated that this perceived or stated PC slowdown IS NOT AN INDUSTRY WIDE PROBLEM.

The problem is that the business media thrives on BAD news so they THINK they get more hype and tabloid headlines by re-playing negatives. Who knows who gets cuts from instigating good buying opportunities? Tabloid business news! <g>

Regards,

Lee

Larry, re: Niles. Basically he said he is still just a shill for CPQ. "DELL is bad, very risky," CPQ a "value pick" now. He is still trying to take all of his erroneous calls on DELL and the PC industry, put them in a pot, and stir up all of this chickens#@t and turn it into chicken soup. Don't forget MU going to $200 a couple of mos. ago! Zero credibility. There is always some analyst willing to make years of wrong calls, one after another, just hoping to make a name by being "the one to call the top" on DELL / PCs. His batting avg. is approximately .025 ... minor league material.
