Unfortunatley you may have noticed that the bid was $2 1/4 and did not go any higher, making a play such as you indicated a very risky proposition. True if they force the price down to 1 3/4 you'd make out like a bandit, but why take the risk??

Right Mike! MM's will often "walk down the bid" when they know good news is coming or if good news has been posted.

It's almost a given. They want shares, cheap shares if they can get them, before the next run. It is often a bullish sign.
