Hi Carl,

I agree with your recent VECO-ZIGO comments. Presently, I am still long both (still much more VECO). On a larger scale, this is about the wierdest market action I've ever seen. I think that as usual, the semi equip stocks called a bigger gloom starting as soon as a few months back. I'd still rather own VECO, ZIGO, AMAT, et al, c/w the internuts, though. If this thing goes as far as I think it may, I may finally shop for an internut or two in a week or two 8^). Good luck.

Don

Hi Carl;

<<I've got to believe that ZIGO is having a good quarter>>

I do not think any of the DD cap equip companies are having a good quarter yet Carl. It is going to take a bit longer IMO. Cap spending turns back on slowly and as for ZIGO/IBM the former will have to compete for the biz just like any vendor. ZIGO's deal is with the equipment designers out of Boca raton. The users are other divisions, especially the Storage group in San Jose. I frankly think ZIGO may have another tough quarter before we see significant increases in sales. However, I think ZIGO has done a lot to cut costs and are managing through it fairly well.

Best,
Stitch
