The NASDAQ got killed today - 2nd biggest drop in history. DOW was up about 270 at one point and ended down over 50. It looks like serious sector rotation going on. The funds have made a lot of money on the big caps like GE, INTC, etc., plus the NASDAQ tech stocks, so they're selling and looking for their next "opportunity". This is my opinion - and I could be wrong - but I feel that a lot of the retirement fund money is going into stocks that have been out of favor. Also, I think that some stocks - like WIND - that have been driven down, will do better once the next earnings reports are out and some of the nervousness about earnings is disspelled.
