It will be at least 12 months before they do have a new core, and they are targeting another (mind-boggling) 20% MHz improvement over the next 12 months.> I hate to nitpick here, but don't you mean 25%? Intel went from 400 to 500 MHz, not 400 to 480, you know. And in about a month, 550 MHz will also be here (if it isn't out already). So in 13 months, Intel will have increased the clock speed by 37.5%. Think of what Intel could achieve if they also hiked up the voltage by two-tenths! Tenchusatsu
