j.o.: I did not sit on my hands during the advance by the Dow, I have been taking positions with my daytrading portfolio. However, I did go to cash with my retirement accounts early, leaving more on the table than planned, but I am always cautious with those funds and I am ok with the early out.

I just had to check back and take a look at the charts today. I have been calling (since January) for this scenario to play itself out starting with a rise out of the Dow's falling wedge (a bullish formation) into the first two weeks in April where I expected the beginning of at least a medium term top. It appears that it may just be happening on Que! Of course, more down side needed to confirm.

It also appears that my expectation for the TYX rates to fall when funds started rotating to Bonds for safety out of the Dow Industrials, etc., did indeed appear to happen.

I am also pleased, now that the day is done, I managed to closed my long positions in the Dow Industrials issues today at or very near the highs for the day.

Smiles all the way around, so far!

Regards,
LG
