I will put Airline stocks on my watch. Oil is going up; these Airlines stocks will be next to get hit, IMO. Big guys are pushing them up and later it will be time to distribute them!!!!

We should be alert to that move!

Thomas, I'm not sure of what makes a BTTT trade but would the below qualify?

TRW
Is FNV too far gone for shorting?
I have a list I will get to the thread for whatever they are worth.

I shorted QQQ and OEX today when the DOW was up 200 (thought I must be out of my mind). Also had AGPH, BVSN, and MERQ, on my shorting play.

Thomas,

I use the Executioner (Tera Nova Trading,LLC). On my short list for March I do see PSIX and YHOO. I don't have a current list for this month, but I have been able to short many of the current high flyers that were not on last months list (ie DCLK and AMTD).

I have used the Executioner for two months now and am pleased.
Although, for a neophyte trader (me) this is a loaded big gun (I'm now missing several fingers and toes) and the streaming quotes and graphs valuable and educational. I still have much to learn .

I've heard Yamner is good, although they're not online. I don't think there's any advantage to being online (other than price, which may not be worth it) for shorting stocks, as I think a broker has to intervene to see if shares are available. Schwab told me I should call them when I want to short, and they'll give me the online rate...

Another alternative when you can't get the shares to short is to short the call options...
