Anyone

Any thoughts on why Windows NT Explorer won't open for me. Only on primary nt install. No messages or errors are given. Ran chkdsk which did fix a few errors but did not help NT Explorer to open.

TIA

Clarence

I've unsuccessfully been trying to find your old paging file posts.
I'd like to configure my paging file(s), as per your thinking on the subject. I'm somewhat confuseed as to why my Diskeeper scan says a paging file does not exist on either the primary nt or scsi nt installs but my system control panel says they do exist. But that maybe neither here nor there.

To refresh your memory my setup consists of 2 operational NT installs on 2 isolated drives. Plus the w98nt0 drive as KOT. I've got 128 mb RAM. (and lots of questions<g>) How to procede with 1 or 2 paging files? If one, on which drive? Initial size? Max size? I even remember you recommending not setting a fixed size. Or do i even need a paging file?

As you can see.. I need lots of help in this area if you've got the time since you haven't been posting much lately. No need to go into theory too much as I can read that info. Just whats the best way to set it up.............
