Evening Jim, <<When a pre open check is done like that...>> Great point, I never thought of that. Not having live quotes and not being much of a daytrader, I noticed the pattern but always wondered where they get those crazy pre open prices. I thought it was a bunch of people anxious to jump in before somebody knocked some reality into their heads. Never thought of it as an intentional check but it makes perfect sense now that you've pointed it out. Stupid me. We had live traders in my days doing precisely the same think and now I don't recognize it when it's done through a computer game. I should have my name changed. I hope you're right about the direction and thanks.
