I think its important to remember that nothing has changed. While a day of reckoning may be coming re: internet valuations, its likely not in the near future (notwithstanding that at some point in time companies do have to make money). Business is changing and the new technologies are leading the way. Corrections will occur. Some will be big and some small. But remember where we're going. Interest rates are low, inflation is low, the American economy is as strong as ever. Even the Canadian economy, particularly its economic center, Ontario, is strong (sorry if any Westerners or Quebecers are offended). Why would things change now? Economic growth has been in large part due to technology. If you were a bull yesterday, there is no reason that you should not be a bull today. That is not to say that the road will not be rough at times, but by all indications, there is no reason for things to change at this point.
