Darleen,
Can't say how much the market is overvalued but parabolic rises correct, nastily.
Money should flow into cyclicals but the 64 dollar question is whether it's enough to hold the DOW steady. The NASDAQ surely won't hold steady. Net stocks have corrected before and they will again but there is real value there. The winners will survive and get sucked back up and the losers will fall by the wayside, only to be replaced with new internet wannabees.
Right now, it's enough to have the XAU sucked up with the rest of the cyclicals but sooner or later someone will have to by physical gold.
Higher rates would kill off the cyclicals eventually, the XAU too.
Right now, though, things are looking up. After this tech sell off, they will recover and go to new highs. The deep cyclicals will go with them. All this forming a blow off top later in the year, if all goes according to plan. <G>

Jim
