DD, it is quite easy to explain the sudden flood of stock hitting the market. Buyers of the new PP are dumping their previous PP stock at a profit in order to pay for the new deal. Why would they do that? In order to get the new warrants! But you are correct in assuming that when the PP is finished there will likely be very thin trading again. The insiders will be loaded up and they will simply wait for speculation and news to drive the price higher - there will be no need for insiders to trade until its time to do another PP!
