FWIW, I did a little shopping near the close.

Had unloaded AMZN at 190 on Friday and spun that plus some idle cash into SFAM at 10, EMC at 102, PFE at 117 and NITE at 72.

NITE is another dreaded internut, but this seemed like a good day to add to my position in a market maker company. Plus the drop was breathtaking. Hopefully, a rebound will occur soon, but if not, I still have a bit more cash to through in.

Your guidance on ETEC and SFAM still looks sound. Relatively light selling on those two today.

Best regards,

KurtSS

Justa:<<What a day. We are getting near Brinker QQQ buy point <g>. Closed at $99. Nuts got crushed and lead the market lower. More to go? Probabilities favor it. Question is when and what comes first. Hard to believe we will see a real correction in the middle of earnings season when earnings are good and guidance is good as well overall. NASDAQ had a washout today at 1.2B shares. Very healthy and good to see. Did buy some NVLS and SFAM. Assumed deer caught in headlight position with respect to others.>>

What a day is right. I also gunned down some more SFAM. The low for the day was at 3:44 with a price of 9 1/2. I was surprised and almost couldn't keep my hand off the buy button, but waited until the very close to see if it would dip again, but lo, it was not to be. My trade went in at the market and executed at 3:58 for $10.06. My immediate response was, "I was robbed!!! What happened?" But then I checked the last trade of the day: a whopping 22,100 shares. Wow! Do you think these last trades that pushed it up were shorts covering? But then I noticed many issues finished off their lows, also. You mentioned the short interest before. What is it now? Sheesh, I just knew I was going to fill at 9 7/8 or better. Son of a gun.

And the only reason I bot more SFAM was that I was averaging down with a previous buy at 11 3/4. I'm up on every other equip save UTEK and will not buy anything else unless I have opportunity to buy at significantly less than previous purchases. Only SFAM cooperated today.

As for UTEK, it was up all day. (One cardinal rule of mine is always buy on weakness so couldn't buy UTEK even if I wanted to). And on low volume. The UTEK selling must be over. There will be some positive news from AZ on the Ubeam during the CC. I am anxious about their earnings. Any guesses? I think I'm on record for predicting (.12). And I'm sure if I'm within .02 either way Lars will refurbish my buy button at no cost. Right Lars?

What was Bob's buypoint for QQQ? I missed his show this weekend.
