To Thread: Large Brokerage managing sell orders!! My guy can't tell me who the firm's institutional clients are but he said that sell orders are backed up and his firm and a lot of other firms are frantically on the phone with each other trying to manage the sell orders. He said, "by way of example, rumor is our firm alone has over 3,000,000 shares of a particular internet stock to sell at the market tomorrow morning (after what they can get rid of on instinet). He said, "if you think today was bad wait till tomorrow. I've got to believe there are 30 - 40 million shares to sell tomorrow for this stock". Which one? "I can't say, i like my job too much, rest assured the panic has started"
