(OT) Expert Systems, Artificial Intelligence

In the 1980's I once made a Venture Capital investment, with two friends: Teknowledge Inc. After us, the likes of General Motors and Framatome invested but the thing tanked - too long a story. Got my money out and a little, then wrote it off in my mind.

Now I discover they are at $5 (were 10!) and I still have 40K shares. They struggled back and sell Expert Systems for net training and more importantly, for E-commerce. They made a little money each quarter of the last 4 years. DARPA is gone, it sort of had kept them alive, research on artificial intelligence for DoD applications.

I mention it in case somebody wants to investigate and follow that combination, expert systems for selling on the internet, before it is discovered by the herd (should it work out big).

Since I had more or less forgotten, I think I will keep the shares. My friends had more but also sold more, years ago.
