Timoteo,

Be careful. While I don't think there is any chance of the deal getting rescinded, there is a significant chance for delay. Unless you're positive that you get the tender offer, I would anticipate having to wait an additional 30-60 days because of the DOJ review (i.e. June or July). If anyone has a complete understanding of the mechanics of a tender (or has already gotten their cash), please correct me, but I don't think that you get the cash in your account until the deal closes. If so, then you have to discount the return of 20% (which is nothing to sneeze at) by the oppty cost of putting your money somewhere else in this tech market correction. I would appreciate anyone's views on this. I myself have a lot of $$$ tied up in PLAT and I'd like to know how/when to get it out. Has anyone out there gotten actual money after accepting the tender??????

Doughboy.
