I would like to hereby publicly thank the US Gov and the IRS in particular for having scared me into not buying anything on margin until the chks to aFOREmentioned, just a little plug there, guv had cleared. Saved my patooty today.

D.G.L. I'm so sorry, of course they weren't to you. Yours was just the next "respond" I responded to. I have so many e-mail and PM's that I have trouble just knowing what to press when.. I was just tired of reading posters who are all of a sudden 'called the market' when no one expected such a sell off. If I had I would have bought 100 contracts of OEX puts instead of just 10.. and then I could to say "hey I called the market'.
