Aye. I just hope too many folks didn't get tragically burned margining up at the top.

Of course we've all seen tech wrecks before, and we'll undoubtedly seem em again. But this time was a lot more manic to me than previous cycles. What we have recently witnessed in the internet stocks was IMO a classic speculative frenzy. Most everyone recognizes how the proliferation of the net will change the world. This, combined with the easy money that so many were making in these stocks provided an irresistible lure -- as enticing as the sirens' song. Blood on the rocks inevitably follows.

Now's the time to refocus on quality companies like SUNW, EMC et al. But I wouldn't be too hasty, as I believe we will see more attractive valuations in the days and weeks ahead.
