Quite simple Steve.. they need that touch to prove their worth. Otherwise they would have to trade in the BMW for a Neon and get a real job.

Hi Steve,
They apparently don't have that software in place to check each order properly and make sure we are not violating some RRSP rule, or exceeding our limits, or not following some other obscure rule they have. In time all this will likely come, and then the brokers will be turfed out on their ear like all the other bank employees, and the poor customers who dare to say they are getting crap service (how dare us...).<gg>

Don't you know the banks soul reason for existence is to provide big bonuses to the upper management. Upper management is very pi**ed off that the rabble (we customers) are even necessary.
