How many shares does Ubid have outstanding? What is its market cap? If in fact, Bid has a higher market cap than Ubid, Onsl and Eggs combined before trading on Nasdaq, that does concern me. Then again, that takes us back to traditional valuation models, which may or may not be relevant (i.e., profitability has to mean something at some point). On the other hand, American retail investors may see an inexpensive stock with significant upside potential if the behaviour of the other auction companies is any precedent. Maybe not. The crux is that we are in uncertain territory: new listing, entering on a very, very down day, Canadian company, etc. There are alot of variables here and were it goes nobody knows. I certainly hope that FRB is putting the right spin on this thing. They better be working overtime. It seems old Victor at FRB gave me wrong advice once already today (i.e., trading Friday on NM).
