Could it be the Note Holders converting at a good time before June 1 ?

If AAPL is apart from the tech CPQ wreck , at least in the Pros minds , could the sales be note holders who are taking profits ? Switching in-house funds ?

For example Fidelity holds its notes is a special strategic fund which I suspect they bought on weakness (maybe $28 - 32 in Oct 98 ?)

A conversion by sale now locks in a good return for that fund and a Fidelity sister fund could be a buyer at $34 (a cross) looking for a July profit ?
